Essent Trading announces that E.ON Gas Transport (EGT) North Virtual Point is available for trading on its web-based trading platform, Essent Xpress. Essent Trading is offering pricing for day ahead, week ahead and prompt months with tradable markets generally from 9:30 to 16:00 CET. Transactions terms would be subject to an EFET Gas Master Agreement with Essent Trading.

This initiative is part of the Essent Xpress mandate to add transparency to illiquid energy markets and structured products by providing real time pricing on an encrypted, bilateral trading platform. Essent Xpress clients can transact complex asset management products and non standard spread products to improve execution service and hedging capabilities. For the type of products on Essent Xpress, using the Internet offers traders a degree of speed, timeliness, and visibility into market behaviour that has been difficult until now.
