Remco Frenken, SVP Global Commodities at Essent Trading, is set to talk at the 6th international networking and conference exhibition for biopower generation.

The conference, which will be held in Amsterdam on 15-16 March 2010, will focus on developing commercially successful utility scale biomass projects.

Remco will look at how to ensure sustainable biofuel supply chains, talking about how to source quality supplies of sustainable biomass, local resources verses imports as well as the challenges and solutions the industry faces.

As utilities strive to meet their 2020 renewable energy targets, biomass power generation is becoming increasingly attractive. The conference aims to bring together leading market experts to identify the opportunities in expanding the uptake of utility scale power generation from biomass.
