Essent Trading was present at the Carbon Expo held in Barcelona from 27-29 May 2009.

During the the three-day event, Michele Spezia, Senior Market analyst with Essent Trading, talked about carbon pricing and trading during the credit crunch.

The Carbon Expo conference is the world’s leading platform for multi-stakeholders in the Carbon Market, particularly for the voluntary carbon market.

Over 3000 participants took part in the event last year from 115 countries across five continents.

The central theme of this year’s conference was “Cities and Carbon Finance”. The event focused on learning and shared experiences in the domain of clean urban development solutions.
