We offer two rotational programmes for MBA graduates,(Management or Associate, depending on specific qualifications and years of work experience.

To join either programme, we expect you to have:

• Graduated with excellent grades from a leading university or business school
• The requisite years of work experience in Finance, Energy, Consulting or Gas

Associate programme
For 'best-in-class' graduates and post-graduates with between 2 and 8 years experience, the Associate Programme is an excellent way to accelerate your career progression and compress years of invaluable experience into a challenging two-year rotation.

You will take on four exciting and stretching projects in the different business areas to gain a broad in-depth experience of merchant energy trading. Each programme is individually tailored to the person. After two years, your position will be at associate or mid-career level, depending on your profile and performance.

Management programme
Created specifically for outstanding MBAs with between 6 and 12 years of work experience, our Management Programme is a two-year rotation plan, developing successful leaders and traders with a well rounded view of a cross-commodity trading business gained by working in multiple departments.

The programme offers the opportunity to work alongside some of Europe's most respected senior executives and explore a diverse range of functions, roles and projects - tailored to your own skills and experience.

The Management Programme consists of four rotations with the commercial business unit, each rotation lasting 6 months. This is a two-year development plan where you will be working with the Senior Management community of Essent Trading. You can expect direct access to senior roles on successful completion of the programme.
